A new beginning : welcome new friend

I look back now on my memories of butternubs. they will be valued as both a loving and wonderful memory and as a learning experience.

It is today that I have taken a new hammy into my home. A tiny short haired syrian whom i have named: Meatloaf

I went to a place called Kahoots and it was a really nice store. .the vibe was great, the people were friendly and knowledgeable and all the animals there looked happy and healthy. After seeing the first 2 syrians, it was a case of 3rd times the charm. As Little Meatloaf poked his head from his little plastic igloo, i fell in love. He was definitely the youngest of the 2. About 7-8 weeks old and was also the only one to approach and sniff me out of curiosity, the others were a bit more skittish. I took it as a sign and chose the little ham, Whom i had then given his name.

I will post pictures once he has had a few days to adjust and once i begin the taming process with him

Every ham we have teaches us so much, I'm sure Butternubs was no exception & would be glad you now have Meatloaf to help fill the ham shaped hole each one leaves in our hearts when they go to the bridge.

Cypher said that very well, bringing home a new little ham after a loss doesn't push anything out of your heart, it just gets a bit bigger and a bit fuller

I wonder if Meatloaf wants to join the HRN's rock band! Great name for a great hammie. I've saw the band in concert years ago.
