You forgot Roborovskis in your list!!
So Robos are my favourite for loads of reasons but mainly because they are cute, they give me great enjoyment and they are easy to look after (which is great if you're a shift worker like I am!). Max and Paddy have actually come to work with me as my colleagues wanted to see them!!!

Well I have only ever had Syrians and one Campbell (I think she was a campbell anyway ) and I love my Syrians. Just because they are a little easier to handle and a bit less hectic!!!

I've only had Syrians - the others seem so small and fast-moving! My special love is long-haired Syrian - I've had three - Nocturne, Oliver and my current LH - Biscuit. I love their more pointed little faces.

Re: which type of hamster is your favorite??!!
I have 2 favorites....Campbells and Robos. I have both and I just love their antics! My Campbells are very particular and like everything just so, especially my female, Star (my avatar pic). I have a Campbells since I was in college...love them!
I just recently acquired 4 robos, I have read so much about this lil creatures and had to have them. I have learned so much about them! They always amaze me with their speed and personality!

Re: which type of hamster is your favorite??!!
I think my favorite is Campbell's. There are lots of reasons, but #1 they are freakin' adorable, and have cute little personalities. I like all the colors they come in. They aren't the easiest to handle, but it varies based on the individual. They have lots of energy, not quite as much as Robo's though , but they are fun to watch. It's hard to pick because each species is perfect in different ways
