Not the most helpful thing I'll ever post but.... Hector won't let me stroke him & Cleo will only let you stroke below the shoulders so I can't say what's going in there. However, if they are anything like the cats then I guess it's a mixture of cartilage & the muscles used to help them move their ears. I'd say as it's something he has identically on both sides it is unlikely to be a growth or anything untoward. But always best to check rather than worry - I would've.

(I shall file this under "blind leading the blind" )

Yeah I wish I could check Cc for you serendipity but I don't think she'd appreciate it and I like having all my finger tips. Sorry

If it's the same on both sides it can't be a growth or a tumor really and ears are pretty weirdly shaped on a lot of animals. If it feels like cartilage then I'd feel safe enough assuming that's what it was.

Yes it's the same on both sides although slightly more pronounced on one side.

Well I have one ear bigger than the other if that helps. My guess is it's just regular ear but keep an eye on it for rapid change.

Yes will do that. How weird I haven't felt it before. I'll check again next time he comes out of the cage (he refused point blank to come out last night, even for a piece of cheese).
