Default Taming my new Hamster Kurinzi! :) progress and tips?

Hello all! I'm new to this forum, so I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place for this thread, but I would appreciate it if you guys would bear with me!
So, Kurinzi (named after a bad teacher of mine ) is a Syrian Hamster, which my brother recently got for me from a pet store (yes, I know how terrible it is. I would've had it another way if it wasn't a total surprise). He's (I don't know the gender yet, but I'm just assuming its a boy) been here nearly three days, and already I think I've made decent progress: Any tips?
1) Kurinzi takes food from my hand, is okay with it in it's bin cage, plays games with me (consisting of him going into his overturned igloo and then cups, occasionally popping off my hand when he gets off), and goes out of his wheel running to jump on my hand and get back on the wheel when I do happen to lay it there. He does jump off when I attempt to scoop him up though, but I expected this considering it's only been a full couple of days. [What can I do in the future to gain his trust more, and how long do you think it will take?]

Sounds like Kurinzi is starting to trust you! Let him smell your hand and then stroke him on the back, It is good that your feeding him with your hands and his letting you hold him in your hands. Get a play pen or use a dry bath and put you and your hamster in the dry bath and try picking him up and playing with him and feeding him treats or food. (this helps to gain the trust with your hamster).

Good luck!!!

Good, If you don't have a bathtub then you can get a room that has no dangerous things and let you and your hamster bond or you can buy a playpen on ebay!

Get him used to your scent everyday and pet him too like what you're doing now. Then take him out on the floor and let him walk around once in a while
