So happy for you and for Aria!
So great to hear she's more settled.
How's your new home? Have you unpacked everything?

Several times I thought I wanted to take them to the shelter and leave them there, but then I'll look at their little faces and swoon lol. I just took to wearing soft earplugs at night, as all the animals I have live in my bedroom, and I was able to get some decent sleep and they were left to their own devices....although Nutmeg and Spice (my first 2 gerbils) were forever escaping, and I hadn't looked about getting them a glass tank at that point...took me about 6 months to realise it. And as soon as I did....no problems...and that tank lasted until I lost my last hamster, Chaos.
I did take a couple of years old from getting small furries, but then Romeo (my black/white little pensioner - as I call him lol) turned up and I have fallen in love with getting them again. Already planning the list for my next one....as Romeo's tank is really small, although Romeo loves it lol.
I hope things do settle with Aria. She's just showing how much "spunk" she has lol. Plus the others are right, a nice decent cup of tea settles everything!!!
Looking forward to reading more about Aria, and I hope that the house move goes smoothly for you.

Thank you very much! That was such a cute and lovely story. Thank you for sharing it with me. I've actually already moved and settled in the beginning of March. Aria is well too. We're doing much better.
I haven't been writing much about her but she does have an instagram that she shares with our other pets and animals. http://instagram.com/oatmeal_cupcake
I do hope to be more active on hamster central now that my computer is all setup. So I might be updating more on her

Thank you! No worries! She's safe for life. This thread is pretty old and got brought back simply to ask how things are going with her. But yep, I won't be getting rid of her anytime soon!

Thank you! New home is much better. Right now we're just living with my boyfriends brother while we recover from the huge expense from moving. It's also to give us some time to settle into the new state, look for a place and just get up on our feet.
Everything is unpacked. Well kind of, some stuff is still in boxes because this isn't going to be a permanent stay. But yes, the essentials are all unpacked.

Re: Aria at risk, possible adoption.
How are you finding the new state! Have you done much sightseeing?
It was me that brought the thread back as I saw Aria's pic for Hamster of the month and I had been thinking about her and yourself and the situation.
Just checking to see how things were.
