Hamster Resistance Network Magazine 18th December 2015
Hello my furry buddies, I hope your swinging from the decorations and enjoying the nut wine in the lead up to the celebrations.
Well this week we had the wonderful trip on the 15 th to the Mouse Army Barracks. We, at the office, were picked up first, so we could great everyone as they boarded the special coach layed on. We had borrowed it from the inter-stella Spider corporation, and thus could zap to each address in the blink of the eye. We welcomed abroad many families and single hams as well as other rodents who peruse our magazine pages regularly.
We all had a quick sing along as we travelled around and finally arrived at the gates of the barracks. We had to go through security and then allowed inside, we were shown into the canteen area and given a hearty brunch and drink before we started the tour. We were shown the barrack rooms, with their neat little beds and wardrobes all layed out alike. Then off we went to the obstacle course with ropes, walls, pipes and all sorts which the recruits climb and get used to going around at speed. Those who were brave enough tried their hand, but we Hams had a disadvantage not having the fifth appendage to hang onto things with nor balance
Then we were privileged to see the transport section which had mouse tanks, jeeps, and the like, waiting to carry the Army to their next assignment in protecting fellow rodents across the country.
By this time we were all very peckish again, so we were lead to the Officers Quarters were we were fed and watered while listening to their quartet of violin players. Around the walls were paintings of Mouse royalty, old flags of the Regiments, and the like. It was all very entertaining and rather filling. At the end of the day we were led outside where the local Bang Bang Dragon lay on some wonderful sparkles and flashes into the night sky.
As we headed back to the coach the Mouse Officers handed everyone goody bags full of mouse t-shirts and branded items. The pups loved it, even though most were very sleepy and very happy to be carried by parents and nannies. Most were snoozing when we returned to our home nests.
Thus this week we have a few of the Mouse Army goodies to give away, if you would send us a Hammail and we'll do a lucky dip for the 20 to received the items. Don't be disappointed though as the Mouse goodies are available through the Hammail website for the Mouse Army called squeaktail.com.
For the pups this week, as they look forward to the visit of Santa paws, here's our friends the mice getting in on the act:

For a little extra we have compiled a magazine special for those Ham Mums out there who need a schedule to go by to bake those yummies and Nut cake for the day. Do remember to get out the Nut cake from the wheel freezer two days before you need it.
Santa Paws will be visiting, all Hams next week, so we would love to hear what you all get from Santa. Remember to leave out some carrots and nut wine if you can.
From all the Staff, thank you for supporting us in our first year of publication. We wish you all a Happy Ham Christmas and New Year.
