Cleaning time at Nyx Hamster Rescue...

Well, it all started with a Chinese hamster, Dorothy.

I put her in a travel cage for cleaning because with how shy she is, she doesn't appreciate my 150cm playpen.

I just couldn't resist...I took her downstairs, and the conversation went as follows.

Me: Fancy a Chinese tonight? *Displaying one adorable Chinese hamster in cage*
Mum: Are you sure there's enough?

Times like this I am so glad hamsters can't understand me...

Here's to hoping these two pictures of her make up for my bad sense of humour!

(Please note in no circumstance would I actually eat any of the hamsters..)

How long does it take you to clean all those cages?

The hamster is like: "I will take revenge human"

I don't clean them all at once because of allergies, so I wouldn't know how long it would take to clean all the cages, luckily most of the Syrians at least use toilets so I can mainly spot clean them

@ianpallen, they are plain porridge oats I keep them in a separate tub for the hamsters and they all love them.

LOL SinNyx - I think your mum has a point - you're going to need a few more hamsters to make a decent stir fry.
(please note that I am in no way suggesting anyone eat their hamsters)

That is a good point! Dorothy is a little too small to be of interest to anyone
