Default Better pics of Pika the dwarfie

Still unsure if he's Campbells or WW or a hybrid - anyone able to help me out on that one?

This is the second day I've managed to hold him and he is soo laid back! still doesn't quite walk into my hand when I put it in the cage so at the moment I'm using his ball to get him out. He did lick my finger earlier which was quite cute

I've had him out for a good 20 mins running around on my lap..then he decided to walk up me and on my shoulder and then decided he liked my back..so cue me bending forwards in the hope I wouldn't squish the poor boy! (I live on my own so couldn't get someone else to get him off me!)

After 15 mins of running around he started snoozing in my lap, SO CUTE. He kinda "splatted" himself out flat rather than curled up in a ball though..prob thought my lap was warm enough LOL.

anyway pics!

This is a better pic of his true colour

"mnuurrrrr Pika says no more pics"

Me stroking Pika

Exploring my lap again

Am I just lucky I managed to get a very laid back dwarfie?? I was led to believe they were nippy and aggressive and would never let you hold him!!

I would say he is a Sapphire Winter White. Winter whites tend to be the most laid back of the dwarfies and love to just splat on your hand

I was thinking WW too. He is very splatty He rarely bites hard - its more a test bite to find out what it is, like he did last night..he test bit my toe and one of my knuckles, but I still did the blow on the nose and the NO just incase he decides to change his mind and bite hard ;D. He doesnt like to be cupped held and tries to dig/scratch out of my palms so I usually use his ball to get him out of his cage and then place him on my hands flat. He has a lovely little personality for a once bullied boy

Thanks for the comments yes he is adorable and cute indeed. However he did bite hard tonight but didnt draw blood. To be honest it was my fault as I was feeding him sunflower seeds by hand and he decided my little finger was a sunflower seed! He bit hard enough to hang on when I tried to pull my hand out so I had to blow on his nose to make him let go, thankfully he didn't fall far and he scurried back to his nest corner. He was out later as normal and let me stroke him/hold him until he decided to wee on my sofa then he went back
