Default Biting EVERYTHING!

I've never had an issue taming a hamster (or any other rodent) before, but Ivy is clearly special. She's a hybrid.

I've had her a while now and she is so funny. Curious, daft, good eater. Healthy, happy little thing.

She still won't stop biting!

The reason I don't understand her biting is that she isn't aggressive, not even slightly. She loves company, has been taking food out my hand since the day she came home. Runs up when she hears me, throws herself out the cage when I take the lid of to see me. Doesn't have an issue being touched, I can sit and stroke her while she's eating or having a wash. I can even pick her up with my fingers round her middle and she doesn't bat an eyelid.

She'll happily come out the cage and climb over me, but no matter what she's doing she bites everything. As she runs about the bed, she bites everything she sees. Fabric, plastic, flesh! And I don't even mean a tiny nibble, she's just managed to get to my foot and had a nibble and drew blood.

She still gets attention and to come out, but no amount of handling is stopping the biting. I expect that she'll always do it, but I just have no idea why! Just curious if anyone else has come across a hamster like this and has any idea why she does it.

(also, here's a new picture of the cute little monster!)

She is beautiful! I have a hybrid that I have had for almost a year now. For the first few month he would bite everything too, it was awful. His name is Stewie, I started calling him Chewy lol. My son was scared of him because if he was out on the bed he would bite Trystin's feet, elbows, he even once got him on the face. After a couple months he calmed down and stopping biting skin. he will still bite new things in his environment though. I think some of them are kind of like babies, they want to put everything in their mouths
