Default Answers on a postcard

Hi I have noticed that my dwarf hamster seems to be able to leave is poo on top of one of his hideouts which he isn't usually able to climb up on.

Any ideas how he is doing this?

What type of hamster is he. I have a robo that is small and yet he can stretch up to the bars on the cage and pull himself up. He is a good climber and he will also try to jump to where he wants to get to.

Logically, it can only be one of four things: he managed to climb up and leave a calling card. Two, he kicks up litter sometimes and the spray of litter managed to have some bits land on top. Three: shooting baskets with poo out of boredom, or four: telekinesis.

If it's the last one, I'd be a bit nervous about upsetting him in any way.....

All the dwarfs I've had seem remarkably adept at hauling themselves up on to things, all that digging must make them strong!
Looks a bit like the finish on this might be a bit hard to get a grip on though...

Hi Mr Hamster is a dwarf hamster. He isn't able to climb up on this item as it will fall over on him. The general consensus of my f/f is that he is following by bf's way of cleaning.... To get rid of something in the way just put it somewhere you cant see it. I have visions of Mr Hamster lobbing his poo like a basketball and thinking score once it lands on top.

You might have to set up a camera to see if you can catch him in the act

LOLOLOLOLOLOL. As usual, Skeever, you make me laugh myself silly. I will have visions of a dwarf hammy shooting baskets tonight...or moving salt shakers around by staring at them.

Actually, I wonder if the little one got one paw in the little hole, and then reached with the other paw to the top....and up he went.??? It's either that...or Skeever is right and your hammy is telekinetic. Guiness Book of Records anyone?

I was off for a bit and have been catching up. I am so happy I found this thread. What a inventive little hammy!
