Re: Hamster playtime help
The bin should do the trick!
I'm assuming you're going to leave it whole? And not cut it or anything?
And Lola is a sweetie

Re: Hamster playtime help
That is a great size bin. Plenty of room in it.

Re: Hamster playtime help
I will be leaving it whole, just cutting some spots for ventalation and for the water bottle, besides that, its pretty much untouched.

Re: Hamster playtime help
Be careful cutting slots in the sides. If a hamster finds a hole in plastic, it can chew and make the hole bigger. With rodents, if its head goes through, its body will follow. You will definitely need slots / holes in the lid for ventilation. It is fun and a feeling of achievement is felt when accomplished.

Re: Hamster playtime help
What I am going to do is put some 1 x 1 cm mesh in the lid and around 2 sides. I got a hamster hideout for protection, but it has pine as 1 ingredient. I will post a picture, tell me if it is safe. Peanut Home Photo by Hammy_Lover22 | Photobucket

Re: Hamster playtime help
I normally just take my Lola out and play with her like let her roam around and cuddle for the 10/15/20 minutes that I keep her out for. My question is, am I taking her out for long enough, and am I giving her the attention she needs playtime wise. As of now, I'm not really the kind of person who likes to put their hamster in a play ball, so that is out of the question,
Thanks!
