Floor covering for playpen ?
Anyone got any suggestions? At the moment they are just on the carpet, but I dont' think that they like it, plus the issue of poo !!

I have been thinking about this. I might just use newspaper when they will not be in it for very long and it does not have to look so flattering.

Re: Floor covering for playpen ?
I just used my floor, its a wooden flooring so easy to tidy up, but he didn't do anything anyway! The second time I put the playpen on my bed, I imagine my throwover was comfier on his little paws! Luckily he doesn;t make a mess though.

Re: Floor covering for playpen ?
I have heard that newspaper can cause problems for hamsters, though I am unsure if this is just is they digest it, though I would have thought that the ink would rub off on to them.

I use tea towels, they were selling them off cheaply at Tesco and picked up a few - easy to throw in the wash when they get pee on them!
