Sleepy Hamsters = Introduction Photo Op
Hello,
I came in this morning from my night shift to be greeted by three sleepy furry faces. Naturally I got out the camera
I would like to formally introduce Beasties 3 & 4 and Rescue Roy. I can only tell the Beasties apart when handling them so I don't know who is who in their pictures! They are two little girls from P&H. I adopted Roy from there as well. The classic "I'm just going in for food..... come out with a hamster and the bag of food.".

LOL. Hello Bugeyed and welcome to Hamster Central. Your little furries are just beautiful. Gorgeous eyes on the Beasties. I notice the heavy paper strips along the edges of (is it Roy?) your hammy's cage. Is this to keep him from bar chewing? Is it working? Definitely want to see more of these fluffs.

Re: Sleepy Hamsters = Introduction Photo Op
Thanks for the welcome! All three are currently running like mad on their saucers so too busy to come and say thanks themselves

Yes thats Roy .They are toilet roll middles tied to the bars for him to run through. Thankfully none of them are bar chewers. Roy's cage is cruelly small at the moment but his new ZZ1 should be here on Monday. He is very, very shy and likes to sit in corners so I don't think he has minded the small space for a short adjustment time.

LOL. I love the idea of the toilet rolls around the edges like that. I usually have new hams in smaller cages at first anyway. Otherwise it's crazy hard to tame them. Hope Roy likes his new home.

Re: Sleepy Hamsters = Introduction Photo Op
So last week I was picking up some food and bits and pieces from P&H and I noticed a little Robo called Rocky was up for adoption. I was thinking about him every day and today I made a decision and called. He was still there. I went and collected him this afternoon. He is about five months old like Roy. I didn't ask but I think they must have come in at the same time, the end of June. I don't know their stories but I am glad I can give them (I hope!) a nice, caring and loving home, helped by all the support and advise on here! I will post photos in a few days when he has settled in
