Re: Help me with learning my hamster colours?
Hehehe, yay! I noticed the bit on her back and the little bit on her tummy. I love torties so I think it just made my tortie senses tingle.
With the torts, should I mention when the white shows through, ie. through dom spot or banded? I know torts can be chocolate or other colours too.
@Kyrillion lol! At first I was like "black banded!" then I noticed the little splotch of yellow on her. I'm feeling a bit too proud to tell my SO why I'm doing a wiggly dance.

Re: Help me with learning my hamster colours?
Thanks Hekomi he's my baba.
He's a red eyed (flesh coloured ears) Long haired Satin cream. So nearly!! As he is a satin it darkens his coat a little and gives him an orangey tone.

Thought so I was wondering about that one myself so am pleased I got it right
One of the other differences between him and a cinnamon is the cheek flashes I think (cinnamons have them and I dont think creams do)

Re: Help me with learning my hamster colours?
Ahh, I was wondering if it was REC at first, but since it was darker I went with cinnamon.
Difference being lack of whitish belly and grey?
RE: Cheek flashes are apparently brown on creams? I'm using this site to help if I get stuck, but trying to do it without help: http://www.georgiahamsters.com/galle...hamster-colors

Re: Help me with learning my hamster colours?
To be honest i dodn't have a clue on his colour till i joined here
As Kyrill has said creams don't have the cheek flashes.
I'm also guessing too. You're doing better than me Hekomi Hope i learn too.
