Wink Bitter Sweet Rehoming & My new Baby Girl!!

So some have read my post of a Roborovski Dwarf I adopted from Petco last week, she was all alone and so cute. She is super nice but so FAST. here how today's story goes.... my cousin got a mismarked banded hamster 2 weeks ago when I got Elsa (my tortoiseshell hamster)but unfortunately her Hamster Baby had a seizure soon after she got her about 5days and she didn't make to vet in time. So I told her would go with her to get a new baby when she was ready. We went today and looked she fell in love with Tinker(my robo) and they bonded while she was visiting. Well Petco didn't have any robos today. A Employee said they don't get those specific dwarfs often. So we looked at The and I quote Fancy Hamsters and i found a beauty. My cousin decided she really wanted a robo so after discussion and my heartbreak for my cousin we agreed to rehome Tinker with her since they bonded well. Since she is almost impossible for my daughter to handle at 3 1/2 Tinker is much to hyper /fast for her. We can visit her Always. My cousin will take great care of her. We can see her often. I just felt maybe they needed each other and i was just a stepping stone to Tinkers happiness.
So since i had a setup etc..... I discussed adopting/saving another hamster with my husband reluctantly he agreed. So Introducing the beauty I found. That I had orginally tried to get my cousin to take lol....whom I named I know original..... Oreo Cookie, just Oreo for short.
It was bitter and sweet. Oreo is full grown any ideas on her possible age. She was scared at store tried to bite but settling in now.
Also what kind is she...they called her a Dalmatian Hamster...I am addicted to black/white critters

That was a lovely story. It was very sweet of you to give up your first hamster for your cousin's happiness, and your hamster's by the sounds of it. And what a beauty you got for yourself! She's a Syrian hamster but that's as far as my expertise goes. Colour identification I'll leave up to the experts

Aww that's lovely. Happy hammies all round! x

She is just gorgeous! She's a Syrian, and looks to me like a Black Dominant Spot. More importantly, she is beautiful. I love Black and spotty hams too. x

... Dalmatian hamster. xD That's a new one! It really baffles me when they make up ridiculous names like that.

Lol Syrian! Petco an petsmart an some others make up pretty names for Syrians whith particular coats jut for more money so any 'fancy' teddy bear' 'panda bear etc are all Syrians .
