3 escapes in 1 week!

1. I got home about midnight on saturday to find Daisy running around the kitchen floor. Figured I hadn't shut the door on the cage properly.

2. Monday morning I got up to find the door of her Cambridge wide open again and Daisy nowhere to be seen. It was nearly two days before I found her trapped in a jug. She's okay was a bit dehydrated though. Turned the cage around so the door was against the wall.

3. Last night I heard the door pop open so I quickly closed it again and pushed the cage back against the wall. Figured one of the kids must have moved it. However the next thing I know - she's wandering around the floor. Shehas worked out how to push the cage away from the wall and then pop the door! Little Minx!

There are now two metal clips on the door. I wonder how long it will take her to work out this new puzzle

little monkey lol its a pain once they work out any week points you just cant keep them in

I've just adapted my door on my cambridge - will post pictures later - not sure if it will keep Lilbear in but its definitely worth a try and will hopefully keep her in and stop her from chewing at the door.

Hopefully she can't figure out how to remove the clips, i am interested to see sugas invention though. The cambridge doors on my WW's cage dont seem to close tight and there is a tiny gap but not big enough for her to get through.

Thanks guys - she is driving me mad! I have to celetape her ball as well as she can pop that open in about 3 seconds! I have two male syrians as well, but they are so much easier to cope with!

They are clever little things. I bought a wire cage specifically because the door was at the top. Well it didn't take Sandy to long to figure out how to climb along the bars at the top and pop the cage door open. I got my dad to fix it though as it didn't have a tight hold. Now she can't do it.

Wow what a clever hammy! Not so great for you though. Hopefully with the clips on she won't be able to work it out...if she does...its padlock time! Hope you don't have any dogs or cats in the house, if you do, she's been lucky! Poor Jasper wouldn't make it out my room if he were to escape, Lucky would scoff him!
