Too much excersise?

Jasper is a very active hamster, by far the most active I can remember having. He seems to be never off his wheel, and just LOVES being in his ball so much too. I just wonder if he is doing too much excersise. I know they apparently do 4 miles a night (or are capable of), but it just seems for the amount of exersise he does, he doesn't seem to eat a whole lot. He eats his choc/yoghurt drops, and some little cheesey treats I bought for him, and he eats a tiny bit of the hamster mix, but ot really seems like he hardly eats much at all. How much does your average Syrian eat each night?

I checked his teeth and they look normal, so I don't think there's a problem there, and he feels fine weight wise. I suppose as long as the food is available he will eat what he needs to carry on doing as much exersise as he does?

I think you are right and he will eat what he needs. He sounds to be fit and healthy so I would not worry too much. They only eat about a dessertspoon a day maximum. We only feed adults every three days so they eat a bit of all the food seeds.
