Question Barney or Alaska?

It's getting closer and closer to payday which means I need to decide which cage to buy for Scrub! The links are the ones I will be buying.
I could really use some opinions.

Should I get her the Alaska?
Small Pet Cages ? Alaska Hamster Cage: Free Delivery on orders £25+ at zooplus!

Or the Barney?
Great Deals on Cages at zooplus!: Barney Pet Cage

I decided against an Alexander, purely because I have nowhere to put such a big cage.
Scrub has a 20cm wheel which is most of the reason she needs a bigger cage. It takes up a lot of room and makes her cage feel smaller than it is. She doesn't have much room to run around anymore.
If you guys could let me know what you think i'd really appreciate it

I vote for the barney as the wire top is fixed not flat packed which makes it stronger. Also the narrow bars allows for housing dwarves or Syrians in it

Also a vote for the Barney here too. I have two and love them!

I`m a Zoozone fan but if I had to choose from the two cages above, it would be the Barney. It`s a more solid cage and has narrow bars, so is universal for any hamster or mice. x

I bought an Alaska a few weeks back and I think it's great! It's really easy to put together - I know some people have complained that it's tricky but mine seemed to be ok, its a great size and it has the bonus of having a large side door as well as a door on the top so it has great access. Chewy loves it as there is SO much room to run around in! Its also great value for money!

I've got two Alaskas and have kept hybrids in them with no escapes. I don't find them particularly hard to put together and I actually like the flatpack ability, better for storage!

The access is great with the Alaska with the two big doors. With a Barney you'll need to plasticote the wooden bits. If you're planning on keeping robos at some point then I'd advise the Barney, if not then I personally would rather have the Alaska and £13 extra worth of toys

Out of these two I would go for a Barney. I haven't got either but, from what I've read on here, it seems the sturdiest of the 2. I almost bought a Barney but ended up with a Savic Ruffy and a Ferplast Mary - both of ebay for £20 each plus extras. Check ebay I say!

I'd been debating this for a while too, I think the Barney looks nicer but I've gone for the Alaska purely for the better access, bigger door. I have three hamster heavens too and I love the big front door. My Alaska should be arriving in a couple days!

I've had a think and I like the Barney because of the size but because of the shelf and the house, the only place for the wheel would be next to the house which would make it a little more cramped whereas there is a lot more room for the wheel in the Alaska, and I can swap the shelf out for her current shelf because she loves the bed she has at the moment and really doesn't like it when I change it. I think i'll get the Alaska. Thanks guys
