Where can I get a big wheel?
My Scrub has grown very big, she stopped using her wheel quite a while ago, just goes on it now and again and I think I've now realised why.
I saw her on her wheel this morning for the first time in a long time and she was walking on it, not running because she isn't able to run on it, she is too big for it, her back curves around the bit in the middle.
Don't worry, she still gets plenty of exercise
Her wheel is already rather big and I must say she is a very big hamster.
Does anyone know where I can buy a large, maybe even an extra large wheel?

Re: Where can I get a big wheel?
i make custom 11.25" wheels. they are 100% solid running surface so don't need to worry about toes/tails getting injured. They are really quiet, only hear the pitter patter of their feet, they attach to wire cages only that have at least 5/8" bar spacing. They have an angled bracket on the back so that when they attach to the cage, your hamster won't slip out constantly. That's what panda was doing until my dad came up with the bracket idea. Currently I can make them in black, navy blue, red, purple, hot pink, and i'm not possible but i might have dark green and teal. panda loves his wheel more than anything else in the world and i feel good knowing that he has one of the largest, safest hamster wheels. i usually sell them for $26 plus shipping! let me know if you're interested! pm me!

You need to post this in the marketplace, not a thread!

Re: Where can I get a big wheel?
The wheel Panda's Mommy is talking about can be seen in the February thread tomorrow since I just renovated Ted E's thread and it's in his center cage.

Re: Where can I get a big wheel?
Amazon and Zooplus have some big wheels, as people have already mentioned, but if you don't want to buy online most privately owned pet stores will be able to order one I for you if you know what you want I ordered one from my local pet shop last week! Just pop in and ask of there's one near to you

Re: Where can I get a big wheel?
I second Tutu's suggestion on the trixie wheel... They are fantastic. Super quiet and reasonably priced.

Re: Where can I get a big wheel?
Zooplus sells the 11" Karlie and Trixie wheels, which is the perfect size for a Syrian hamster. I believe that the Trixie wheel is currnetly £8.99 which is a fantastic price. I personally have two of them, which I love.
Amazon- as said above also sells large wheels, I think that they sell the Superpet Comfort wheel in the size "Giant" which is also a 11" wheel. Also Amazon sells the 12" Silent Spinner though this is quite expensive.
My vote is a 11" Trixie wheel from Zooplus
