New Cage!
I finally got some money up and got to get my Hammy a new cage! She's much happier now!
Here's the difference between her old one and the new one!
And here's a video of her enjoying the new house!
The only thing now is that she could use a bigger wheel, and some new toys now that she has the space for them. :3

Nice. Although....and it`s more of a safety issue. The top shelf is way too high and she could topple off and injure herself. I love the solid wooden ramps, but the cage height would allow you to put in a full upper level, rather than just the small level, which would make the cage even better (and safer). x

Re: New Cage!
Good point racinghamster, you could put some hammocks in as well to prevent falls.

Re: New Cage!
Just pointing out the obvious really as there are so many hamsters taking tumbles off high shelves and casing leg breaks and other accidental injuries that could simply be eradicated by a few simple adaptions. Hamsters are primarily burrowing rodents and not used to height. Although they will climb if given the opportunity, it`s not safe. x

What do you mean by full upper level?
I didn't realize it was going to be quite so high until I got it put together, and I've actually put the shelves /lower/ than what the instructions suggested. There's only one pet store in my town that even carries hamster cages, so it was slim pickings. I kept a close eye on her last night and she's not even trying to scale the sides of the cage or anything, and she hasn't been falling off. : )
