'From running on box'

Both Isaac and Edison's birth certificates say that they were 'from running on box'. Does anyone know what that means?

Sometimes a breeder will put several litters together to run them on together as a group when they are babies. Unless they are different colours when you come to do a pedigree they are unlikely to be able to exactly identify exactly which baby came from which parent so they will have put 'running on box'

Ahh, I see. Thank you, I've been wondering what it meant for a while now

If they go in the running on box they are ones that the breeder considers the best ones and is going to run on a bit longer to decide if they want to keep them or not.

That's interesting to know! Both hams are from Lilliput and I would love their pedigrees but by the sounds of it, it might be a bit hard to get? Edison is a Sapphire Pearl and Isaac and Sapphire is that makes any difference. I am new to all of this so a little confused
