Question Wooden cages.....

I have scraped the argos idea......
Now thinking about a rabbit hutch that has a plastic bottom and would mesh the windows.
Was just wondering how to make sure the wood doen't absorb any pee It is going to be in my room so i don't fancy a smell of pee...
I have heard of plastikote but was wandering what it is and where you would get it....

If you're after advice converting a rabbit hutch into a cage from someone who has already done it then kryilliondaemon is the person to ask I know she has converted a couple and it's worked really well. I think plastikoting the whole cage is really the way up go or using a pet safe paint. You can get them from places like B&Q, Wilkos etc. I believe Plastikote is like a spray on paint but I'm not 100% sure as I have never used it but it comes it different colours and is safe
