Well Naomi - was it lilac pearl and smoke pearl you were looking at? these are the only two 'pearls' that I am aware of.
The smoke pearl is a mixture of the dark grey and yellow gene giving a lovely smoky grey hamster with black ticking and black ticked crescents.
The lilac pearl is dark grey, cinnamon and yellow and has a pink-grey smokiness, and light ears.
I love them too- and have currently two smoke pearls, a boy, Sea Scout, and a girl, Sea Shanty. I also have a male Scorpio smoke pearl visiting who we will be using for breeding purposes shortly!
Towy Vale are expert on breeding smoke pearls, and because of the very delicate dark grey gene (which can cause hamsters to be smaller and weaker and with spinal deformities) they are not something to be bred by the faint-hearted!
I dont know what else you want to know Naomi - but there are some baby pics of Sea Shanty here
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3957&st=0&sk=t&sd=a although she is tons bigger and darker ticked now - and I ought to post some up to date ones!
