Hamster fever!
I think I've caught it! I'm already thinking about a second ham, which has me wondering, does anyone know of any breeders in the US in PA or NJ? Dwarfs or Syrians, I'm open to both, I'd just really like to find a breeder.

Re: Hamster fever!
Haha, I know where you're coming from! I had a little break from hamsters when I started college, as my last Syrian Chino went to the bridge in a very sad fashion at the start of term, and I wasn't around to look after her properly.
But I took on a dwarf in March, who lived at college with us, and since then I've been landed with 4 more!
(Plus a snake.... Soon to become 2 snakes....)

Don't even get me started on reptiles! They are my first love. lol I have a snake, 3 bearded dragons, a tortoise, a pacman frog, and 3 african clawed frogs! lol But there's a certain love you can only get from the small, warm and fuzzy.

Re: Hamster fever!
Haha brilliant! I love frogs!! I really want a Whites tree frog, some Waxy monkey tree frogs... um, some Fire-bellied toads... Everything!
I'm also up for getting some crested geckos soon, plus we're about to adopt a baby ball python.

Re: Hamster fever!
I had cresties in the past. They're adorable!! I'd love a ball python but I'm out of room at the moment for big tanks. lol I'll probably get one more hammy and that'll be it for a while. I'm just having trouble finding a good place to get one. I'd like to avoid the big chain pet stores, but it seems like around here that's all there is (unless I find another another owner whose hams had babies to adopt from).

Re: Hamster fever!
They are so cute, I love their little sucky feet. :3
Haha, you should see my college room! XD At the moment Pipkin and Saffy are here with me, but Todd and Finley are coming up next week and I still have room for more! It's a tiny little ensuit dorm room, but it just MUST be filled with little ones.
(It's also fun hiding them, as we aren't actually allowed animals.... xD)
I think it depends on the pet shop really. Some are far worse than others. There are loads needing homes online.
