Yeah, my brother wanted a hamster too but couldn't afford a cage, so I have to keep him with mine I noticed that Lilo, my ww has different markings behind her ears and has more textured fur. Bolt, my brothers ham, nips a lot harder and weighs less. He also sleeps under the water bottle so he doesn't have to move when he wants a drink

When my Frostie lived with his brother I knew because Cheerio (his brother) had some markings and was smaller whereas Frostie had no markings and was always bigger!

I used to have two syrian twin brothers from same litter that looked identical. Could only tell them apart by their personalities. They used to run around in their balls and sometimes I put them back by mistake in each other cages.

Sadly the one in the photo sitting on his red house passed away at 19 months due to a tumour. But, his brother is still with me going strong at 26 months.
