Flat-Back Waterbottle Reccomendations
I live in the US and I have always used the basic Petco waterbottles for my hamsters and have had no problem at all with leaks. Unfortunately, I can't use that round shaped waterbottle with Darwin's new cage. I need a flat-backed waterbottle for his tank style cage (very similar to a FOP GABBA Tamburino). Does anyone have one that they reccomend that works well? I have absolutely no experience with them and I don't want to waste my money buying multiple bottles if I can find what works for you all

would something like this work?
Not really sure what part you need to be flat as the back of this one is rounded but the front is flat

Why do you need a flatback water bottle? If you are trying to attach a water bottle to the side of a tank just use some sticky velcro on a round bottle and the wall of the cage and you should be fine.

Re: Flat-Back Waterbottle Reccomendations
Sorry Xelay, I worded my post incorrectly, I don't need a flat backed water bottle...I prefer a flat backed water bottle. That way the water bottle sits flat against the outside of the cage in the appropriated spot.

Now...to find out if they sell them here in the US. I can get them off of amazon, but they are shipped from the UK...shipping will be high.

I've got one of those ferplast ones and found it leaked after a while. It's easy to fill though. I just stick with the cheap red ones now

This type, seems to be the basic water bottle most pet shops sell here http://www.petsathome.com/shop/delux...-classic-36951

glad you found something that worked. It totally makes sense I just wanted to check and make sure you knew that you could keep using round ones if you wanted.

Thanks for the tip . I have seen people put them inside the tanks with velcro before, but I'd like it to be on the outside. The bottles I have, just aren't working for that space & keep falling off. See below:
