I used to sell them for between £5.20 and £5.60 (depending on how many ordered/exchange rate), that was cost price with airmail shipping from the USA with just enough added to cover my paypal fees. I'm still happy to do that but only if you can collect from a show - it doesn't benefit me in any way so if the club wanted to get them instead that would be great.

The cheapest retail I've seen is £8.99 but they are often well over a tenner.

Unfortunately we are expected to pay up front ourselves for anything we want to sell at shows and displays (we do most of the Midland shows and all the Southern ones) and then pay the club commission on sales. We have already spent out over £1,000 on stock this year so we shall have to see whether the bank account can stand a little more!!

the cheapest you can buy them for is £8.99 plus postage, so if you stuck em on at £8 you be well undercutting the nearest rival. if you made them too much people might say "what? i can buy this cheapo nasty one from the shop for £3!" Ok maybe they wouldn't say cheapo nasty, but you can the idea!

Yes, this is the problem. We don't want to spend out a lot of money on stock that won't sell.
People may buy a comfort wheel at £5.50 but will they stretch to £8 or £8.50 for a wodent?
To be honest I use comfort wheels myself as equipping all 80 odd cages with wodent wheels would cost a fortune!!

Sue, if you wanted to buy from my American "contact" you wouldn't need to buy in bulk - I think 10-16 would be acceptable (in fact you wouldn't want to buy more than 16 as you'd get a customs charge). They are a little under a fiver each including airmail shipping - having them sent surface would be even cheaper, so if you sold them at £8 a time you'd do quite well.

Thank you - I think we need to give it some serious consideration!

It would be brilliant if you could get them, as we would love to have them for all of our hammies and will want a fair few more within the next couple of months!

I, of course, understand that it may not be affordable if you have to spend your own money to buy them though.
