anyone read this book?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0793 ... sib_rdr_dp
it says in the review thing that it includes info about exhibition, but doesn't seem to mention that in the index.

no I'm sorry dear that's one of the few hamster books I don't have
from what I've seen though in most books they're not very up to date on the exhibiting side, one guinea pig book I've got still talks about them having gummed labels stuck to their ears before you box them up and put them on the train to the show - no wonder there are so many "wild" piggies about can you imagine how many decided to get off the train before they even arrived???

I have not read it Bunsey but I have noticed the publisher is THF which is an American publisher so their books do tend to be more on American showing, colour etc. which can differ from the UK. I have others by this this publisher.

Lopaedia Matty is actually one of the best books around, all of the lopaedias are great - even the rabbit one.
You might find more extensive reading online then and not through a book as most books are basic.
I hope Chris and Pete wouldn't find that offensive!
