Default Good Quality Photo Requests

Righty

Kat has been writing a book for a year or so now, in bits and pieces when she has time. It must now be at least a hundred A4 pages long already and barely done!

I cant remember what she is calling it but it will be along the lines of 'Small Animal Encyclopedia'. Covering every aspect (cages, health, handling, feeding, breeding, history, personal experiances, temperments, pet suitability, genetics and so on..) of a lot of species including syrian, campbell, winter white, robo and mouselike hamsters, lemmings, guenthers voles, short tailed opossums (marsupial), gambian pouched rat, fancy rat, fancy mice, spiney mice, grass mice, pygmy mice, harvest mice, african pygmy doormice, gerbils, persian, sundervalls, shaws jirds, acacia rats and much much more!

There are going to be a LOT of photos in it, especially the syrian section.

Now, our request is for photos of certain coloured Syrians against a plain background (preferably). On a white towel or sheet is best but whichever colour that makes the syrian stand out.

The photos *do* need to be large and of a decent quality, nothing fuzzy as they are to go into the book. All photos will be credited under the photo itself and in the front cover of the book to the breeder/photographer/owner of hamster(s).

So! If you have the colour and want your hamster to be famous, here's your chance!!

I can only think of a few colours off the top of my head:

Syrians:

Colours:

*Red Eyed Cream
*Copper
*Rust
*Honey Black
*Black
*Lilac

Patterns:

*Banded Dominant Spot

(more to be added to list at later date)

Here is an example of the type of photo i mean or as close as possible...

If Kat is writing the book Moosley I think it would be nice if she were to join the forum so we could all meet her and find out the exact details of this book.

I doubt that this is the kind of photos you meant as I don't think the backgrounds are right, but here are a few of Amelie (LH Satin REC) which you are welcome to use if you want (but don't worry if you don't want them ):

No because then it probably wouldn't get written as we'd all have different opinions and ideas!!!

I would love to have a looky though, and I would promise faithfully NOT to comment
