Default Good pet shop near High Wycombe

My friend recently bought a pregnant hammy, accidentally obviously, does anyone know of a good pet shop within about 10 mile radius of High Wycombe, that would sell them responsibly. I know of 2 that would definitely not be ok, but was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

your best bet (by far) is to try and find a local adoption or rescue centre (yellow pages) or a local breeder

The best petshops in High Wycombe are :

Canine Care - Bourne End Garden Centre (supplied by small breeders, often myself.

Desbourough Pets (sp) in Marlow. (Supplied by Essex Breeders or small breeders).

If you want a pet shop that cares... Toad Hall Garden Centre (supplied by Essex or myself) on the road between Marlow and Henley.

If you would rather get from a breeder, I live in High Wycombe we have a couple of babies ready soon and a whole load of them in about 4 weeks.

Booker Garden Centre (supplied by Essex Breeders)

I think we need to pay more attention to the post guys - hamsterhaven is trying to find a pet shop that would re-home an accidental litter, not buy a hamster on this thread.

Moo has given a few places your friend could try hh, hope its useful

Ooops I missed that haha! I read it then the reply and carried on from that haha!

I wouldnt try the Desborough Pets in Marlow, they only ever have in 2 - 4 hamsters at a time.

And Canine Care have an entire litter reserved from me (though they arent born yet soo....)

There is a Desborough Pets down from the mini roundabout in Cressex, london road maybe? Its on the main road.

Toad Hall are very good though, the woman you need to speak to there is Gill, say that you have spoken to Gemma who they get Syrians and Mice from sometimes.
