Hideys for Syrians
It's so hard to find hideys big enough! Can people share where they got their hamster hideouts from that fit Syrian hamsters so I can find some big enough. Thanks!

Re: Hideys for Syrians
It may be a little small. If going for comericial houses guinea pig sizes are best for Syrians as hams like a lot of room in their hideys.
Something as simple as old shoe boxes are great if you want a cheaper option.

I use the standard plastic igloo house hidey for my syrian. She seems to like it just fine.

Annie had a hamster house from P@H for a bit, and then this house for a while, but to be honest, she's happy enough with an old shoe box Something rat or guinea pig sized should be large enough.

Re: Hideys for Syrians
I like the rat houses P@H have started selling - basically wooden cubes on stilts with a large circular door. Might have to get some

I saw those and they're brilliant. I don't use anything wooden for the rescues though so I can't yet, Stan much prefers his open nests to any kind of hidey.
