Urgent help needed; Runaway pregnant.
I just found out Peanut, that is currently pregnant, run way someway. She lives in a bin cage and somehow she managed to climb her wheel (I found that only possible hypothesis) and jumped through a holding-gap. She is about to give birth any day now and I am really scared she could give birth while runaway.
I didn't notic any form of her activity and can not hear any noise.
I really need your help. What should I do?

How far along is she?
Sit quietly in each room, listening for her. Put out 4 sunflower seeds in each room, and come back later see if any have dissapeared.

Or something tastefully smelly like peanut butter and try a bucket trap?

Re: Urgent help needed; Runaway pregnant.
Close all doors to make sure she cannot go from a room to the other (makes finding where she is easier) Then put the seeds in every room. Make sure she cannot switch (like by squeezing under the door and stuff like that) Smelly food DOES attrack them and also LISTEN... You will hear her... The bucket trap helps, as well as making her cage available for her to go back in once you know where she is/what room she is in...

Thank you both. I did a seed trick and found out she is still in my room. I stayed up till midnight and then noticed weird noise. When I looked behing a closet, she was making herself a nest out of yellow plastic bag. Now she is staying in a bin cage so I am sure she will have no more adventures on her own like this. Thank you again.

Re: Urgent help needed; Runaway pregnant.
I'm so glad you got her back before she had the babies. I'm glad to that you came onto the site to ask for help. We've had a bunch of escapees recently, but none that were pregnant. The very thought gives me shivers.
