Default Can Anyone Help With Rehoming?

I am asking around for a lady who is looking to rehome her 11 week old female Syrian Hamster called Angel. She has been trying to tame her but is so nervous about it she has decided that its best she goes to someone more experienced.

She comes with a Gabber cage and all accessories and is in the Walton area of Liverpool.

I hope someone here might be able to help her, she is an adorable little thing and if I was closer I'd have her. Here's a picture.

I would have her, but HW would seriously KILL ME! She is beautiful colouring!

But....we are driving up to Liverpool on Sunday, returning Monday to see HW family. If it is any help, and if anyone would like her, but she is too far, I could collect her for you and bring her to Blenheim or Romsey?

shame i can't take her myself, but i think it's best if you don't say she comes with a cage (esp. one as popular as a gabber) because someone might take her just to get the cage and then pass her on. cruel, but true. When i had Mocha she came with cage, but it perpousfully wasn't advertised that way just in case some cruel person came along wanting a free cage.

That could be the best idea - and a show would be an ideal place to seek a suitable individual to adopt; and it has a bit more flexibility than simply 'Liverpool'.

Oh no! We're both sat here keeping our eyes firmly shut and reminding ourselves of our plans!

I just hope someone decides to have her quickly.

I wouldn't be able to bring her to a show and put her on the sales table though. I think it was BV Mark (Correct me if i'm wrong) but you have to have had the ham for so many weeks first before you can put her on the sales table? Something like that anyway.

I just meant if someone wanted her, and they were going to either show, I could bring her for you, (and have a little foster ham for a couple of weeks )

I would love to have her for a couple of weeks...so i'm hoping someone says yes to me bringing her back. HW REALLY would kill me if I even suggested keeping her, so its the closest I will get. Come on someone...say YES!!!

Well done for paying attention Louby!!
You are quite correct, any rescues must be in the possession of a club member for 4 weeks prior to being offered for rehoming. Mainly to make sure they are not ill or pregnant, but also we find 4 weeks is usually long enough to get them back to full strength if they have been neglected and well on the way to being tame if they have not be handled much.
