Do you plan names of future hams?
I already know what my next ham's name is going to be. She is going to be a female BEW Syrian and named Celeste. I might also get a male black eared cream Syrian some day and call him Sulu, after Captain Sulu from Star Trek. Oh my!!
Do you plan your hamsters in advance or just get one that tugs at your heart strings while in the store?

I wait to see something about him/her... I always said that if I got Mignon's brother, I would call him Snowflake since he is all white and fluffy (except.for a little grey mask in his face).. but ended up calling him BabyBlue since he's got that blue ring around his eyes...But that's just me...!! lolll

Re: Do you plan names of future hams?
Sometimes I think of names that would be really cool, but 99% of the time I take one look at whoever it is and a completely different name comes into my head haha. I wanted my next hamster to either be named Peyton or Cinder and that certainly hasn't happened lol

Re: Do you plan names of future hams?
I have names planned for my next Syrian and the robo or 2 that I want to get. They'll probably change though.
I didn't plan Fudge's name. We decided on it when we were on the way home with her

I don't but my 6 year old daughter informed me the other day that when she's older and allowed a hamster she wants a REW girl called "Fang"!! Thank you hubby for that name suggestion...!

Um....I thought there was no such coloration in Syrians. I could be wrong though.

Re: Do you plan names of future hams?
Its rew in rabbits, but in hams its either a dew or few (dark eared white and flesh eared white)
I have my foody theme so all have to have names that match. It is starting to take longer to find the right one

Re: Do you plan names of future hams?
We usually choose both the ham and the name when we see them, but we named Nut in advance. We had a list of "ideally" and found the name when thinking of possibilities, liked it, agreed to use it. Added Cocijo when we got him though
And Peep we let Womblehands name, so he was named in advance too
