So, some of you may have read a thread I posted the other day about a ratrations order I did the other day. I also mentioned about having to stop in PAH to get some bedding. My dad came along too because he has a couple of ratties and he needed some carefresh so occasionally I'll drive us up and will have a little gander at the toys etc. Well, we did something stupid. We're normally pretty good at avoiding the animals but happened to walk past and a little something caught our eye.
A beautiful syrian girl scratching at the glass front where we were. She was in one of the tiny show cage things with a huge golden syrian. Well, we were stood there for 5 minutes telling each other 'no, we don't need any more rodents'. 'We don't have room' etc etc and eventually managed to pull ourselves away.
Anywayyyyy, my ratrations order arrived and they'd sent some extra syrian food (due to a problem with my last order) and I ended up with a stupid amount
Happened to be passing PAH and wondered if the little girl was still there (just wondered!) and she was, and the next thing I know is we have another cage set up (Bolt's old one for now) and a gorgeous little girlie. Not sure of her colouring, thing sable dominant spot if the internet is anything to go by. Her name is Fiddah which is Arabic for silver as she has what looks like a silver mask. She is a present for my dad who loves Bolt and fell in love with her that day we saw her. She has already had cuddles with him and when the assistant got her out she climbed up my arm and sat on my shoulder
