One time one of my hamsters escaped and made his way into the utility room. Looked everywhere for him and couldn't find him til I checked the hole cut into the floor that led to the vent outside for the dyer. He was trapped in there. Check any vents and holes asap.

Honestly i have no vents/holes, ive gone round with a torch and even the plumbing around the utility room has a big plastic cover around it. 6 days now and not a single noise/sign that makes me think shes still here!
I dont know what to do, getting another one will feel like ive given up on her.

I remember the story my mom told me when she had a pet hamster when she was a kid.
It escaped from the cage, they looked EVERYWHERE for it. Then 2 weeks later my grandpa found it in their basement eating cigarette butts! The hamster was very skinny but it survived
Hope you find Bear I have a hamster named bear too

Have you put a note through your neighbours front door? I would try that especially if there is a chance bear has got outside. Someone may have found a hamster and taken it to a vet or shelter so its worth a try.

Don't give up hope! My brother-in-law had an escapee hamster once. After 2 weeks they discovered that he had made himself a cosy nest behind the cooker, and was perfectly fine!

Drag everything out, search under everything, go through all your drawers, leave out tasty treats, and I second the suggestion to contact your neighbour - if there is a tiny hole somewhere connecting the two houses (if you are detatched) she could be living in a space next door.

I really hope you find her soon x
