R.I.P. Cyrus

Thursday night at exactly 8;30, i went to check on my hamster, i had been at school all day and was down stairs doing homework and eating, when i came up, i realised she was in the same position as to where i saw her fall asleep the night before, meaning she had not drunk or eaten for a day or more... I lifted up her house to see her laying on her side, i touched her and there was no reaction at all.... i called my mum who then hugged me and said she was sorry, i could see her getting weaker, and lighter, but i rang the vets and they said leave her and let her be.... my mum let be pet her for a while which made me cry lots, we then went to get my dog, Alfie's medication box and decided to put her in there as a little coffin.... we drew flowers and added many stickers, i begged my mum to let us dig her in the garden but.... when we tried our dogs and cat kept digging her up after 5 minutes.... so my mum and i walked to the bins and had to put her down there, where she was collected this morning, i put her in with a bag full of sawdust so her little body wouldn't get hurt, even thought it was only her shell..... i miss her so much.... but i don't know if my mum would let me get another hamster.
Cyrus's whole name was Cyrus Cutie Hammy Dorris (and my last name)
She was born on the 12th of January and i bought her and the 22nd of February, 2 days after my birthday. I loved her and i onlt got her when i was in year six. All i can say is she was the best hamster i could have asked for and i am happy she was alive for the start of year 9 for me....
She died at the loving age of 2 years and 8 months.
She was a russian dwarf hamster....and my best friend
RIP to the BEST hamster ever, Cyrus, i will NEVER forget, i'm putting up pictures everywhere in my room just as we did when my dog died 6 years ago.
RIP CYRUS, I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER AND EVER, WATCH ME FROM HEAVEN.

My God I am sooo heart broken.. Soo sorry for your loss... As time will pass by, what will be left o her will be smiles and great memories of the life you 2 had togeter... That day will come and the pain will be away... =)

I'm so sad to hear this! I can tell little Cyrus was your world and I'm sure you were the center of her little hammy universe You know by now how the pain will fade into only good memories and I'm sure when you're ready, your mom will let you get another ham to love.
