Did i do the right thing ?

Hi, i was just browsing Hamster items on ebay and i found a cage listed with " free gift"
in the description it says the free gift is in the tube in the photo obviously hamster
i reported this to ebay and sent the seller a nice polite email ( ahem ) but now in thinking what will he do with the hamster when its taken off ebay ? if it was left up then some one in that area ( doncaster i think ) may rescue the hamster .
Now im worried i did the wrong thing by reporting it, and should have just sent the email to the seller
what does everyone else think ?

ps if anyone can resuce it before its taken down its listed under cage with free gift !

i've posted a link to it... the thread's called "hamster on ebay" or something. I wasn't sure about reporting it because i think what if he just chucks it out in the garden instead

Hi , yes i saw that just after i had posted !
i was in a hurry before it was removed from ebay and didnt read other posts first
i think in future i will send an email to the seller and then highlight it on here so hopefully somebody can rescue the poor little things
