My life will revolve around training
For the next sixteen very tough weeks
With my sights on a record I'm trying to break
the number of seeds I can fit in my cheeks
To ensure my endeavour's successful
There's a mantra that I must remember
If I want to be the best, if I want to beat the rest
At my record attempt in september
I will think the words over and over
As seed follows seed, follows seed
Dedication, dedication, dedication
Its the one thing that I'll really need
See you for the big day in September
Then in September...
The World Record Seed Attempt
Roll up, roll up for your chance to see
A spectacle that's hard to beat
Harold the Hamster is about to attempt
A world record breaking feat
Look on in awe as he slowly begins
Filling up each of his cheeks
With seed after seed from his pile right here
He;s been training like crazy for weeks!
Showing no fear, 20 seeds disappear
He's filling his left cheek up first!
Now another six seeds going into the right
Harold looks like he's going to burst!
But he's still really nifty, and shovels in 50
Just one more little seed left to go
But his cheeks are so stuffed - has he got any room?!
He can't speak - so there's no way to know!
He's going right now for the last little seed
What courage, what skill and what grit!
And yes! Its gone into that last bit of cheek
HAROLD THE HAMSTER HAS DONE IT!
