I've just started smoking - long story. I never smoke in my room where Belle is. I only ever smoke outside - as I don't like my room smelling of smoke lol. Anyway wondered how how long I should wait after smoking before handling Belle? I've washed my hands obviously but they still smell of smoke which could scare her maybe - not sure?
Dont forget that even after finishing a cigarette the smell of smoke will linger on your clothes as well as your fingers.
Belle may not like that at all.
I wouldn't worry too much about this. Just wash your hands after your ciggie and you should be fine. I'm sure if your hammie is sensitive to the smell of smoke she will let you know.

I'm a smoker. I smoke outside only. I wash my hands and brush my teeth after I have a cigarette. I have never had a hamster act weird about it if I do.. But lily won't give me kisses if I don't.. It's like she knows I did something bad. LOL
