I'm searching high and low for a Husky Roborovski (or 2 or 3 I'm not fussy!) I'm in Kent but quite willing to travel, I get around quite a bit for guinea pig shows.
I've only ever seen the one, in York - a random encounter with one at Peejay's, where he was causing some amusement amongst the staff, who'd never seen his like!
He's gone now - and what a little creature he was! Absolutely adorable, if totally mad, as with all his ilk!
On the Southern Hamster Club website there is a rescue section that shows a group of 4 and a single husky robo. I have no idea if they are available but thought I would just let you know that I had seen them, as I have done a similar search myself!
ah thanks for that, I've been in touch with Wendy from the SHC and she knows I'm looking for robos, I just e-mailed and said it's actually Husky ones I'm after so I'll see if she knows of anyone with anything.
I get the impression (I'm hoping I'm wrong) the pictures are just on the website because they're terribly cute, they could possibly be "old" rescues though?
well if my two husky 'girls' turn out not to both be girls, I may have an accidental litter of huskys! Although I hope not, guess I'll know for sure after Brockholes when I get them sexed
The ones on the Southern website are pictures of rescues that Wendy has taken in, and I don't think she rehomes them out unless she is desperate as many of them have problems.
