Oh gosh, I lost Tank! What do I do?
I know I ALWAYS post problems but ohhhh no. I lost Tank! As you might know, he had a scab. So, I put him at my dads house, temporarily in the bathroom. Hes been there for about a week and I see him every day. So I didnt see him for 2 days, and come back and hes gone! Im so so so worried. The door was closed and theres no way, if the door was closed the whole time, he could of gotten out. BUT, my sister leaves the bathroom door open A LOT. So he might be in the condo! I DONT know when he got out out of the span of the last two days, there are 2 cats, all the doors are open, its relitively small. I dont even know where to put the cats while I look! One of the things im most worried about is the fact that next to the bathroom theres a washing machine and behind it is a hole in the wall that leads to my sisters room. (not supposed to be there) Im afraid he climbed in and fell! Its 1:00 and my dad is asleep! I dont know what to do.

Set up the bucket traps with some smelly food and wait. Could you keep the cats with you or in one small room that has been very carefully searched?

I only have a little handful of hamster food. The rest is at my moms house.
Ill try it anyway though. Do you do it with just hamster food, or peanut butter or what?

He was in a cage, right? Oh dear, i hope you can find him soon. Lots of searching, he should be awake during the night anyway. Hamster food, vegetables, fruit anything like that that he likes will do.

In a little thick plastic box/bin. I dont even know how he got out. Hes been in there for a while. Long enough to see if he could get out.
Right now im just sitting on the computer in the living room listening to see if I can hear him. My sister said she definenly saw him before work at 11 AM. She came back at 6:00 PM and didnt notice him. So he was probably gone between 11 am and 6:00 pm. 8 hours where he could of gotten loose. That means hes probably been gone from 15 hours to 7 hours.
Its 2 am (i know, im up late) and im not hearing anything. Would I be hearing something if he was in here?
BTW, the cats are in a room that I least expect him to be in (i havent checked every room enough to know 100 %. Just have to hope.) They are lieing on the bed, not acting suspicious, and I havent heard anything in there. Also, its the farthest away from where he got lost. I cant REALLY check that room a lot though because my dad is asleep in there

Peanut butter should be fine. It's nice an smelly so it should get his attention.

Re: Oh gosh, I lost Tank! What do I do?
I didnt do the bucket thing yet because Im still awake, but I did put some peanut butter in a couple of rooms.
One thing im also worried about is that my dad opened the balcony door and he ran out on the balcony. If he DID (its just me being paranoid. He almost surely didnt) would a hamster jump off something that high? Also, would they live? If he DID jump would I see him?
(Its like 3:00 XD im tired, but even if I TRIED to sleep I couldnt not knowing hes safe. Hopefully Ill find him tonight! keep your fingers crossed!)

Re: Oh gosh, I lost Tank! What do I do?
Should he still be awake?
I havent really been looking for the past while because my dad and sister are asleep. Should I stop looking for the night or keep trying to look? If he IS in the hole in the wall is it okay to leave him for another night.
AND, I thought my sister had been feeding him but she wasnt and now I cant feed him! I dont think hes eaten for a while, can he be okay without food for longer?
