I'm not sure if anyone has hear of "You know you'e a redneck if.." I thought it would be fun to start "you know you're a hamster parent if..." So, here's a couple I thought of, off the top of my head. Feel free to add your own!

You know you're a hamster parent if...
You find random sunflower seeds everywhere
People think you are talking about your children when you mention your ham(s)'s name(s)
You will take your ham to the vet before you'll take yourself to the doctor
You actually don't mind cleaning your ham cage

When you spend 60% time at school picking bedding off your tights
When you spend £5 for the hamsters, for every 10p on yourself
When you stuff your clothes in a bag to make more room in the wardrobe for toys
..

Your Facebook wall is covered with nothing but photos and updates all about your hamsters!
You only talk hamsters
Your entire shopping list consists of hamster items
You dream weird dreams about your hamster making you worried about them the next morning
You go to ceck on your hamster once s/he's gone to bed
You'd rather spend the day in watching your hamster sleep, eat or play rather than doing anything important
You answer the phone then go "awwwwwwwwww (hamster's name) has just ..."

Oh dear...I do all of the above! Except Facebook because I do not have an account. I still can't speak fluent hamster tho

I speak about my hamsters so often others get bored! Even work colleagues!
