You know you're a hamster parent when.......

- you spontaniously wake up in the middle of the night with worry over how clean the bedding in their cages is and when the last time you cleaned them was.

- you look at an empty toilet paper roll and think about giving it to your hamsters when you change it out for a full one (and actually do it later on), rather than throw it away without a second thought.

- you save things you'd otherwise throw away like some insane hoarder, just because you can use them for the hamsters.

- you're laying in bed awake at an ungodly hour of the night, eyes all bloodshot, because your hamster is making an unholy racket that is preventing you from much needed sleep but you don't want to stop it due to not wanting to upset them.

- you own several spare bins that are destined to become some form of hamster housing one way or another.
