Yeah, that's what I was looking at. I'm just weighing up £££ and time considerations but am seriously thinking of going for it. I've emailed them to ask for more detailed information to try and work out how much benefit it will be to me right now. I've also got the email of someone who is taking it to quiz them too.
This thread has gone totally off topic hasn't it!!

If they end up not deciding to rehome it, at least hopefully this experience will make them think about how they care for their hamster and things will improve for the little feller either way.
Fingers crossed for you and the maybe-orphan xx

Well I found out that this family should be coming back on Tuesday from their vacation so hopefully then or Wednesday ill hear something about adopting the hamster.
We are getting hit by snow storm tonight and there is a chance there might not be work tomorrow for my husband, The plan is that if I do adopt it the women watching him will probably bring him into their office at work and my husband will bring it home to me from there...
Still got my fingers crossed!

Best of luck
Sincerely hope you have a new Syrian on Wednesday - but you have your two new darling Roborovski Dwarves if it is just not meant to be this time. Fingers, toes, legs, arms, eyes crossed for you

Yes if this is not meant to be thats fine, although ill feel sad that the hams is going back to a family that doesnt care, but if they ever changed their minds they now know someone who would like to give it a good home.
If I dont end up adopting it Im not going to go get another syrian, im just going to stick with my two little robos.

Roborovski Dwarf hamsters
Quite sensible - although I'd bet the next time you went to the petshop you'd come back with a surprise for us - after all what is the point in making that lovely nice new bin cage otherwise
