She is the expert, after all!
I think people would like to know, as it seems a very useful way of getting your Robo to remain still long enough to check it's health/sex, whatever.
I'm still practicing

I had a go at Alcester but I wasn't very good, I don't think my hands were quite big enough to master the trick, it was really impressive watchin Noo do it though, it would certainly make judging Robo's possible if they were exhibited in the main show.

its really a case pf making them feel safe secure and realise u are in control.
by lying them so their back lies in the palm of your hand place either the thumb of that hand or from the other under the chin of the hamset, not to push it down but to get it to calm lying down in your hand, it is really something bst shown rather than talked about to see how to get them in possition without stressing them etc.
i was doing it yesterday with a pets at home robo at littlemissdwarfhamsters work place! proof it works with totally wild robos in a loud place!

Does it only work for robos or can you do it with any hamsters? 'Souffle plots to clip dwarfies nails'

Wow, could someone tell me how to do this too, please? My robos are tame enough to play with but they would definitely not lie on their backs for a belly rub! What an amazing skill

I still have not completed my Jedi training on this one - tried it on the WWs, and they were not overly impressed; hard to tell if that's me being a padawan, or whether they just don't buy it!
