When do hamsters become sexually mature??

Omg! I didnt even think of this! My hamsters are about 25 days old. (3 weeks and 4 days) They arent mature yet right? I do not not not want them to have babies! When should I seperate them?

I read somewhere 21 days old. Could they have hamster pups?? Oh no! What should I do? I cant believe I didnt think of this!

Syrians have the potential to become sexually mature after 3 weeks, which is why that is when you separate litters into males and females. I'm not sure about dwarves though?

It is not 3 weeks (some dwarfs are rarely at 3 weeks) 4 weeks for a Syrian. At 4 weeks take the females and put them in a group and the males in another group. Males usually are a little slower to mature.
We find females start to stand at just over 5 weeks. Mother will also start to come into season again when pups are about 4 weeks and though the males may be interested they can't really do anything!

Unless mother is rejecting them then 4 weeks will be fine Do it on exactly 4 weeks though. With a tolerant mum you could leave the female pups with her for a few more days but I think it's better just to do them all at the same time.
2 large plastic storage bins will be fine for the two groups of boys and girls.

oops, I meant 4 weeks! my excuse was that it was 3am and I didn't have my contacts in haha

So is it fine just to use two bins with stuffing and some food inside?

(Do I have to buy water bottles or is there any other way to give hamsters water? Lol)

I was wondering for a second why someone would breed and not know this then I realised your name and remembered your other thread.xD silly me.
Some people use water bowls instead of water bottles.
