minks and doves should definately be standardised. I think they've been bred consistantly for long enough now. although it makes the AOC class very large!

Well I have to say I think Amy and Julie, we are the official mink and dove fan club! How many times have we posted about this?

*cough* i have been bugging everyone about dove for a long time now too!
lets face it it is the colour i focus on which seemed silly as it was non standard but i love it so much, and silver dove..oh and blue mink! when i have the room to up my numbers properly again i will have a dove army to fill the show bench with...it needs standardizing badly
i too cant wait for robos either, they need standardizing fast you see or else we wont be able to sell them at shows, as it should be excess show stock, as we dont show robos technically they should only be donations...and dubious if it should even be that! i love robos, especially hypnotizing them to lie in my hands :P its why i have a breeding pair again, which i hope will have offspring soon, but knowing robos because i think its likely there wont be any babies for months!

your efforts with doves aren't in vain though, noo, as the more than can be bred consistantly the same colour, the more chance of it getting standardised... as i understand it anyway.

I seem to be the only one who feels like this but, for me, its dwarves all the way! I love Custard my Syrian but my dwarfies just do it for me. They have such different little personalities and they're just so adorable. I think they can sometimes be a bit harder to win over than Syrians but its worth it. My little Campbells Venus and Bluebell have just been curled up against me on the sofa watching TV (whereas Custard the Syrian spends all his time plotting his great escape!). I couldn't be without my dwarves!!
