Default What colour is Hamlet??

Hiya! For those who don't know I got my first ever hamster last week. His name is Hamlet.
I was just wondering what his colouring is? As in the "correct" name for it rather then "grey/beige/white/cream/dark grey stripes" as I call him.

His body is light grey and and white (white and his underside) though it looks more beige/cream in pics. His face is cream/beige and he has dark grey stripes here and there.

Would be nice to know what colour he is if anyone could tell me.
And yes he is gorgeous

I think he is a Silver Grey banded Aimee. He also looks to be long haired but at the moment the length of the coat looks like a female. Have you checked he is definitely a male? If he is male he will grow a long skirt at the back but females stay tufty all over with sometimes slightly longer spikes at the back and behind the ears.

Hmm, the beige on the face makes me think Lilac but Syrian colours aren't my strong point.
Silver greys don't usually have the beige face as far as I know, I only know that because they are one of my two favourite Syrian colours (along with Dark Grey) but my cousin has a Lilac which looks very similar.. hmm..

That's what I thought, but Lilacs have red eyes and I don't think Hamlet does

Where did he come from Aimee? If a pet shop then he is likely a 'grey mix' which gives this creamy brown undertone to the coat.

Thanks and yes he is a LH.
Its funny you should say you think hes a gril because Ive had my suspicions! I even asked TWO memebers of staff....
When I first saw him I said to the other half it "looked" like a girl... not sure why he just did. And then reading on here about males skirts and reading p@h inability to sex a hamster, added to it. I even posted asking when they develop their skirts...because Ham is lacking one currently.
I don't mind either way..unless babies appear!! Because he was housed with his brother...
Nope Ive not checked yet because Ive had him a week and hes still a bit jumpy, he will come sit on my hand but I dont want to scare him and flip him over. Guess we will have to wait and see.
