Default Munching on cork rounds

So just to make sure, it's safe for a ham to chew on cork tunnels? (cleaned and disinfected--I boiled and baked them). Viola's big on munching small heaps of cork off her log and stashing a pile somewhere (like next to the log or on her wheel). It's mostly the insides, so the chips are blackened looking. Lately Leela started crunching on her cork round too. (thankfully all of my hams with plastic tubes don't crunch on those or I'd take them out!) Dora usually ignores her cork round, and Hamilton doesn't care to crunch on his either.

Anyway, it should be okay, right?

It's not a problem, don't worry!
